General Terms of Use for the John Langlois Website

 

Preamble

These general terms of use are entered into between:

- The site manager, hereinafter referred to as "the Publisher",
- Any person wishing to access the site and its services, hereinafter referred to as "the User".

 

Article 1 - Principles

The purpose of these general terms of use is to provide a legal framework for the use of the John Langlois website and its services.

These general terms of use are concluded for an indefinite period. The contract takes effect with respect to the User from the beginning of the use of the service.

The John Langlois site reserves the right to modify the clauses of these general terms of use at any time and without justification.

 

Article 3 - Access to the Site

Any User with internet access can access the John Langlois site free of charge from anywhere. The costs incurred by the User to access the site (internet connection, computer equipment, etc.) are not the responsibility of the Publisher.

The site and its various services may be interrupted or suspended by the Publisher, particularly during maintenance, without obligation of notice or justification.

The User has access to the following services: Freestyle bike show.

 

Article 4 - Responsibilities

The Publisher cannot be held responsible in case of failure, breakdown, difficulty, or interruption of operation, preventing access to the site or any of its functionalities.

The connection equipment used by the User to access the site is the User’s responsibility. The User must take all appropriate measures to protect the equipment and data from internet threats, including viral attacks. The User is also solely responsible for the sites and data they consult.

The Publisher cannot be held liable in case of legal action against the User:
- Due to the use of the site or any service accessible via the internet;
- Due to non-compliance by the User with these general terms.

The Publisher is not responsible for any damage caused to the User, third parties, and/or the User’s equipment as a result of their connection to or use of the site. The User waives any action against the Publisher due to this.

If the Publisher becomes the subject of an amicable or judicial procedure due to the use of the site by the User, it may turn against the User to obtain compensation for all damages, sums, sentences, and costs that may arise from this procedure.

 

Article 5 - Intellectual Property

All technical documents, products, photographs, texts, logos, drawings, videos, etc., are subject to copyright and are protected by the Intellectual Property Code. When provided to our clients, they remain the exclusive property of John Langlois, the sole holder of intellectual property rights on these documents, which must be returned upon request.

Our clients agree not to make any use of these documents that may infringe the supplier's industrial or intellectual property rights and agree not to disclose them to any third party, except with the express and prior authorization of the Publisher.

 

Article 6 - Hypertext Links

The User is strictly prohibited from setting up any hypertext links to all or part of the site without the prior written authorization of the Publisher, requested by email at johnlanglois24@gmail.com

The Publisher is free to refuse this authorization without having to justify its decision in any way. Should the Publisher grant authorization, it is in any case temporary and may be withdrawn at any time, without obligation of justification by the Publisher.
